Current & Upcoming Initiatives

  • NPX, with the BrainSTEM Alliance created a workshop and design challenge about nuclear power for girls aged 9-12.

  • NPX helped build and maintain the GBHStrong website and app and continues to offer community initiatives through the platform.

  • NPX is volunteering with e-NABLE to help 3D print free and low-cost prosthetic upper limb devices for children and adults in need.


Past Initiatives

  • NPX helped plan and implement the All in Ontario Auctions on GBHStrong to help raise money for local United Ways during the pandemic.

  • NPX aimed to spread awareness about Orange Shirt Day and sold shirts by donation to raise money for the Orange Shirt Day Society.

  • NPX helped 3D print face shields and ear savers for businesses and healthcare workers at the beginning of the pandemic.

  • NPX had the opportunity to meet many amazing young women interested in STEM careers.

  • Grade 9 students took part in an engineering challenge for Bruce Power's Take Your Kid to Work Day.

  • A fun filled event with dogs in costumes and delicious treats to raise money for a local animal shelter.

  • Celebrating International Literacy Day by collecting book donations for local school libraries.

  • An exciting summer camp for kids with a focus on science, technology, engineering and math.
