3D Printing PPE
In partnership with Bruce Power and with the support of community organizations such as the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library and Launchpad, we used our 3D printers to produce plastic face shields to help fill critical shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) for front-line health-care workers in the fight against COVID-19.

Our 3D printing team has produced and delivered over 2749 face shields and close to 3470 ear protectors for front line health care and community workers in the Grey Bruce Huron Region so far!
The face shields and ear savers have gone to the brave front line workers at Wingham And District Hospital, Hanover and District Hospital, Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance, Brucelea Haven Long Term Care, Police Services, Victim Services Bruce Grey Perth, Community Living, and many others.
This was only possible because of the tremendous teamwork and collaboration from the nuclear industry and the Grey Bruce Huron Community.
