What Was it?
This two day virtual workshop and design challenge introduced young girls (aged 9 to 12) to how energy is produced by nuclear fission by discovering and learning about nuclear power and completing fun design challenges! They met inspirational women in engineering and worked with mentors from the industry. The mentors consisted of 4 passionate and talented women in STEM:
Kits were mailed to participants prior to the event.
