The COVID-19 pandemic changed the way that many charitable organizations fundraised. With the ever changing gathering limitations, organizations had to cancel and reschedule their annual fundraising events and brainstorm ideas on how they can continue giving back to the community and raise money in a virtual space.
Women's House Serving Bruce & Grey was one such organization that NPX partnered with to help create and manage a virtual auction to raise money for the cause. We hosted this auction during the month of International Women's Day for the Women's house two years in a row, 2021 and 2022.
Auction items were donated by event sponsors as well as local businesses. In 2021, 18 items were donated for the auction which raised $2081. In 2022, 10 items were donated which raised $1255.
