NPX actively supports groups and organizations such as Women In Nuclear and the Canadian Nuclear Association, as well as our local representatives of Bruce County in furthering the sustainable development and 30 by 30 goals.
PEACE, JUSTICE & STRONG INSTITUTIONS

GOAL: Sponsor a refugee.
NPX has committed to donating time and funds to tree planting initiatives with Trees Canada every year. We also pride ourselves in being a paperless company.
NPX regularly participates in beach clean-ups throughout our community to prevent waste from entering Lake Huron and maintain the beauty of our beaches. NPX also participated in a dune restoration project in Bruce County.
Goals: Eliminate or reduce plastic usage.
CITIES & COMMUNITIES
NPX considers supporting the local community to be a huge priority. NPX is regularly involved with a variety of community focused events such as Yappy Hour, Habitat for Humanity, Second City, Hike for Hospice, collaborating with the Lion’s Club to help build a new skate park, and more.
INDUSTRY, INNOVATION & INFRASTRUCTURE
Innovation is the name of our game. NPX was founded on innovation where we use new and exciting technologies to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and improve safety in the nuclear industry and beyond.
DECENT WORK &
NPX encourages youth engagement in the work force by providing training and internship opportunities for both high school and post secondary students.
& CLEAN ENERGY
NPX works within the nuclear industry with the goal of reducing the cost of nuclear which currently produces 58% of Ontario's power at 30% less than the average cost and creates 0 emissions in the process. When considering the entire power generation lifecycle, Nuclear comes out as one of the cleanest technologies available.
NPX values gender equality in the workplace and believes in equal pay for equal work, with women making up 40% of our team. Our Girl’s Code Club works to teach future generations of women useful tech skills and encourage their dreams of careers in currently male-dominated industries.
NPX takes the health and well-being of our team very seriously. In addition to comprehensive health and dental benefits, we provide everyone on our team with a Headspace subscription for quality mindfulness, yoga classes at Town Yoga Studio and a CAA membership. We also regularly participate in team sports and challenge each other in our Nike run club.
NPX attended the Globe 2020 conference and made a promise to plant a tree in honour of every visitor that came to our booth.
Goals: Develop a carpool app to reduce carbon emissions.
RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION & PRODUCTION
Our products are meant to replace paper processes such as forms, reducing the environmental impact by helping our clients move to be paper free. We aim to develop products that make these processes more sustainable.
NPX is proud to have reached the committed level in the PAR process. PAR certification provides a high level of assurance to our community that NPX is a good business partner, a great place to work and committed to prosperity in Aboriginal communities.
Goals: Aim to provide opportunities such as workshops and training sessions for people in the community to learn employable skills such as resume building, coding skills, and internet literacy.
NPX strives to provide our staff with continuous learning sessions, support for professional development and opportunities to attend conferences. NPX also helps support STEM education in our youth through a summer STEM camp, coding days at schools, hackathons, and design challenges.
NPX helped support Kincardine’s local food bank by organizing a food drive to encourage the community to donate non-perishable food items for those in need.
