Strategies to Reduce Stress
Get Creative

Engaging in creative activities can be very cathartic for some. Example: crafting, knitting, drawing, writing, making videos, singing, making music, wood working, read etc.
Get Moving

Take some time to get your body moving such as stretching, exercise, yoga, or go for a walk around the block to get some fresh air.
Take a Day Off

Don't be afraid to treat mental health days like any other sick day. Your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health.
Ask for Help

Talk to a friend or family member that you feel safe sharing your struggles with. Also don't be afraid to ask for help with your work.
Practice Mindfulness

Taking a step back from everything and doing some deep breathing and meditation can help ground you. NPX recommends the Headspace app and offers all employees a Headspace subscription.
Try Journaling

Writing a stream of consciousness can help get things off your chest. Try out www.penzu.com for a free online journal or The Five Minute Journal by Intelligence Change if you prefer physical writing.
