The NPX team organized and ran an awesome 2-week STEM Camp at the Bruce Power Visitors Center this August. This camp, which was funded by Women in Nuclear - Bruce Chapter, exposed young scientists to engineering, physics, math, chemistry, biology, astronomy, computer science, and much, much, more.
In typical NPX style, we took a different spin on STEM camp and each day had a movie theme (Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Star Wars etc.). Campers put their creativity and STEM skills to use with activities such as ozobot coding, superhero tool building, and learning the science behind magic tricks.
